Hi Babes! I’m Rachel and I am the owner of The Pampered Peach Full Body Sugaring in Thorold.

The Pampered Peach is the first of its kind in the area, offering gender diverse sugaring services for all shapes and sizes. We believe in not only providing top-tier sugaring services, but also in creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space. At The Pampered Peach, we believe that you are worthy of love and that you should always come as you are. Your journey is important to us, and we hope we can empower you to embrace your true and authentic self.

Our specialized sugaring technique is gentle and effective, leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth with lasting results. Our 100% natural Sugar is applied cool and removes hair with the natural direction of hair growth. This eliminates the hair by the root, exfoliates the skin and prevents the irritation often experienced with other hair removal methods.

There are many things to consider when booking your Pre-Wedding or Pre-Honeymoon Sugaring:

  1. Booking ahead: it is important to have your sugaring appointments on the books up to one month in advance of your required date, as most Sugar Specialists book up quickly, especially if you require an evening or weekend appointment. If you message us to book a few days before your required appointment, we may not have the availability you need.

  2. Which service: Are you looking for underarms, Brazilian and full legs? Just Brazilian? Or perhaps just a Bikini?

  3. Timing: It is ideal to book a trial appointment prior to your pre-event appointment. Most people book their services on a 4 to 6 week rotation - this allows for enough hair to return and for the most hair to be removed, resulting in a longer duration of smooth skin.We highly recommend this trial appointment so that you can know how your skin will react to the treatment, and to improve the results for your pre-event treatment, allowing time for any possible reaction to resolve before your event if you happen to react negatively.Ideally, your first appointment will be 8-12 weeks before your event, and your next appointment will be 4-6 weeks after the initial treatment and 24-48 hours prior to your event for best results.

  4. Pedicures/Facials/Massage: If you are getting your legs sugared, it is important NOT to schedule this on the same day as your Pedicure. When we remove the hair with sugar, this leaves the hair follicle open and susceptible to bacteria for up to 24 hours. For this reason, obtaining a pedicure within this 24 hours window could present a higher risk of infection from unclean tools or pedicure tubs. Also, because pedicures or massages include the use of lotions and oils, we cannot effectively sugar you for at least 24 hours AFTER these services as the lotions and oils prevent the sugar from sticking to the hair and skin.If your goal is to obtain facial sugaring, it is important to note that any use of retinol, alpha hydroxy acids, chemical peels and certain facial treatments often require 1 - 2 weeks of no use prior to getting sugared.

  5. Tanning/Honeymoon/Destination Wedding: It is important to avoid excessive exercise, Friction, Tanning, Saunas, swimming, and sexual activity (Brazilian services specifically) for at least 24 hours after your service  (spray tans included) as your follicles are open for up to 24 hours. The best time to schedule a spray tan is 24-48 hours after your sugaring appointment, as tanning before sugaring will result in loss of colour.

Much like planning other aspects of your special day (flowers, venue, hair and makeup), it is important to consider all angles and plan your sugaring appointment carefully to ensure the best possible results.
